Road transport will always remain an essential element of the supply chain – especially as a cost-effective solution for short-distance transportation. Every day, our experienced drivers and local transport partners ensure your products are delivered to their designated destinations throughout Europe and Africa.
Our roots are in road transport. Van den Bosch trucks and trailers have proudly driven the European roads since 1964. Today we’re still proud of our equipment. And of our drivers. Because every day they take care of the safe transportation, loading and unloading of your bulk goods. They even go further: by taking responsibility for managing your on-site logistics.
Fast and reliable
Road transport is fast, reliable and ideal for temperature-controlled transport. In addition, our multi-compartment trailers are ideal for transporting smaller quantities. For short distances (up to five hundred kilometres) road transport is still the most attractive solution. Depending on the fluctuations of the oil price, the specifications of the product and the distance between the loading/unloading location and the terminal, we’ll find the optimal logistics solution together with you: from road transport to an intermodal combination of road, rail and sea.
Quality and safety
Quality and safety are key. In our own Van den Bosch Academy, our drivers are extensively trained in all facets of transport, covering both liquid and dry bulk goods for the food and chemical industries. Our transport partners also receive extensive training at the Academy, so your goods are always in good hands.
Partner network
Sustainability is becoming increasingly important – and road transport is no exception. That’s why we make use of a network of transport partners. We combine your sea or rail shipment with the services of a local partner who takes care of delivery to the final destination. As a result, we offer a competitive prices and save on empty kilometres. What’s more, these drivers know the local language and culture, so you always make a good impression. To make your supply chain even more sustainable, we also specify lightweight equipment and we’re exploring the possibilities of electric- and hydrogen-powered transport.
