Van den Bosch receives World-Class Workplace quality label

Van den Bosch has been awarded the World-Class Workplace quality label. This independent quality label is awarded annually by research firm Effectory for good employment practices. Effectory recently carried out a survey of the employees in every branch of Van den Bosch. Based on these results, Van den Bosch scores above average compared with other researched organisations operating worldwide.

Michiel van Kessel, Director Staff Services and responsible for Human Resources, is very proud of this result. "We are delighted with this quality label, since it can only be obtained on the basis of the assessment by our own employees. We have set a clear direction with the growth strategy and market positioning chosen in 2020. This is making our employees proud to work at Van den Bosch, ensuring a very high level of commitment to our organisation. The initiatives regarding the training & development of employees and internal communication are also highly appreciated."

Challenging and inspiring working environment
As a logistics service provider, Van den Bosch always aims to lead the way, with employees being the driving force for growth and innovation. The development of the company is not the only important aspect - personal development plays a big part too. With more than 600 devoted employees, 10 branches and activities around the world, Van den Bosch is committed every day to providing a challenging and inspiring working environment. Van Kessel: "That is how we encourage our employees to get the best out of themselves and each other. Feedback from our employees is therefore extremely valuable. For that reason we are delighted with the great response to the survey."

World-Class Workplace
World-Class Workplace, formerly known in the Netherlands as Best Employers, was launched 15 years ago by Effectory and has grown to become the Netherlands' largest independent quality label for good employment practices. World-Class Workplaces are rated higher by their employees on good employment practices than their industry peers. The quality label is free and cannot be bought: organisations can only earn it through a positive assessment by their own employees.
