Successful Strategic Partner Day

About 90 strategic subcontractors and cleaning companies from 16 different countries visited Van den Bosch 3 and 4 November 2022 for the Strategic Partner Day.

The attendees were welcomed at the Van den Bosch Academy by CEO Rico Daandels and Director Procurement Hans Kanters and his team.

Importance of strategic partnerships

Rico took the partners through Van den Bosch's long-term strategy as The Supply Changer in Bulk. In doing so, he underlined the importance of strategic partnerships and joining forces for growth, insight, networking and innovation. "As a crucial link in our network, you are instrumental in realising our ambitions. Today, together, we are taking the next step towards a successful future."

Programme

The groups went through four different break-out sessions on the themes of technology and equipment, operations and quality & safety, digitalisation and charter management. The plenary programme was followed by a visit to Eindhoven Air Base, home of the Royal Air Force's Air Mobility Command, where they were taken through logistical operations and the ins and outs surrounding air cargo in the military. The day ended at outdoor kart circuit de Landsard, where the group competed against each other in a challenging endurance race.

"We can look back on a successful event, which exceeded all expectations and brought us closer to our partners, says Hans Kanters. “We have laid the foundation for successful cooperation in the future. I would like to thank all attendees for their attendance and enthusiasm during these days.”
