Our organisation

Van den Bosch is an internationally operating logistics service provider with 700 employees in its workforce. Coordinated from thirtheen offices in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, we generate about 250 million euros a year. Quite a complex organisation, you would think. But nothing could be further from the truth.

In the dynamic and sometimes even hectic world of bulk logistics, incisiveness is the key to success. Since its foundation in 1964 our organisation has been characterised by simplicity. Short lines of communication, open doors and an informal character mean that we realise our ambitions by being able to act quickly at board, management and operational level.

The entire organisation at the table
All our employees are managed by a eight-person management team. The entire operational and support organisation is represented in this management team: from the operational divisions Dry Chemicals, Dry Food, Liquid Chemicals and Liquid Food to a.o. Sales, Finance, Human Resources and ICT.

Board
The management team interacts with the board, which consists of CEO Rico Daandels and CFO Thom van Egmond. The Management Board in turn is accountable to the Advisory Board, which includes shareholder Peter van den Bosch as well as Diederik Gijsbers and Frans Bosman.
